About

Dan is a UK-based photographer specialising in the documentation of vacant space & man-altered landscape, with a particular eye for the mundane & unremarkable.

Holding a strong and versatile portfolio – Dan’s work demonstrates a deep passion and interest in documenting raw landscape. In recent years, inspired by the New Topographics movement, he has set his focus on documenting man-altered landscapes; the commonplace, the mundane & the unremarkable, with the aim of finding beauty in the everyday.

With a passion for motorsport & everything automotive, Dan has had an abundance of opportunities to photograph numerous vehicle marques, new and old, over a plethora of locations, resulting in a resilient portfolio of automotive photography.

Historically, Dan has worked with various pieces of photographic equipment and materials, though his imagery is now predominantly captured by means of digital & 120 film, with occasional use of 35mm film.

Having graduated from the University for the Creative Arts with a BA (Hons) in Photography, his works and projects have been both published, and exhibited, in London. In 2014, Dan became a Photographic Contributor for the premium stock image agency, Millennium Images – he has since supplied a number of images which are now available to license for either personal, or commercial, use by visiting Millennium Images website.
